M-24 BAGS Brand Collab

M-24 BAGS

Brand Collab

We more or less discovered each other.

One morning as I was surfing the ‘gram, swirling hot water over a small pile of freshly ground Yirgacheffe, I noticed a follow from @M24bags. Being on the look-out for brand partners on my upcoming project, I did a bit of investigating. As it turned out, this UK-based brand specializes in crafting one-of-a-kind upcycled bag products (duffels, backpacks, laptop covers…) from local truck tarpaulin. With a shortage of sturdy travel gear, and huge support for waste management in consumer products, I knew I had to reach out.

Mat, the man behind the handiwork, went on to explain that he strived to come up with a material strong enough to endure extreme abuse and already in abundance with unique designs. Truck (or “lorry“ in the UK) tarps fit the bill perfectly, and 4 years later, production is booming. Our priorities were definitely in-line, and after making a few selects online that I felt worked best for The Nomad Barista, 4 colourful, tarp-sewn bags were making the transatlantic trek to my doorstep.

YELLOW LAPTOP COVER

My 13” Macbook fit super snug and never got wet once with the magical protection of yellow tarp.

YELLOW WASH BAG

It never held my nail clippers, but it made a perfect fit for my Aeropress and hand grinder.

YELLOW BACKPACK

I was particularly hyped on the roll-top feature which was perfect for all my coffee gear, laptop, or a few cameras.

WHITE MEDIUM DUFFEL

Minimal, strong, and fit everything else I needed.
