BARCELONA COFFEE a Tour of 5 Bike-friendly Cafés
I've always loved biking around the bustling streets of Barcelona, peeking in at my favourite coffee spots around town to say hi, and sipping on the best brews they had to offer. On my last visit, I decided to take a few friends on a quick tour of the most cycling-friendly cafés in the city and even make a whole YouTube Clip about it, so check that out below for the whole story!

THE 5 BIKE CAFÉS WE VISITED
SKYE COFFEE CO / POBLENOU | MONDAY - FRIDAY, 9 - 5
This refurbished Citroen H-Van finds its home in the beautiful space called Espacio 88 and serves up some delicious coffee roasted by Right Side Coffee.
ORBEA CYCLE / EIXAMPLE | MON - SAT, 10:00 - 20:30
Orbea is a long-running bicycle brand from Barcelona, and their Campus store also hosts a café serving coffee from Café de Finca.
ON Y VA / SARRIÀ | MON - FRI, 8:00 - 15:00 | SAT, 8:00 - 14:00
Though it's a bit of a climb into the quiet neighbourhood of Sant Gervasi/Sarria, On Y Va is a great place for a coffee before heading out for a bike ride through the hills of the Catalan countryside. Serving Approachable coffee roasted by professional cyclist, Christian Meier in Girona.
BICIOCI / GRÀCIA | MON - FRI, 9:30 - 00:00 | SAT, 17:00 - 00:00
Deep in the heart of Gracia neighbourhood, you'll find this Italian-style bike café turned pizzeria in the evenings. They're serving coffee by Familia Osorio on a beautiful lever machine made popular in Italy but now used around the world.
THE SWEETOPHELIA CAFÉ / ARC DE TRIOMF | MON - SAT, 9:00 - 17:00
Just steps away from the grand Arc de Triomf, Sweetophelia is serving up some delicious coffee by Animal as well as an assortment of pastries, quiches, beers, and fresh juices – literally everything you need after a long ride through the city.
